About the role
You will lead the technical core of our hydrogen work: reviewing stack performance and durability evidence, designing test programmes and writing the conclusions clients act on. The work spans PEM, alkaline, AEM and solid oxide systems.
What you will do
- Review stack performance and degradation claims, and state clearly which ones the data supports.
- Design test programmes, stress tests and decision gates around the failure modes that matter.
- Analyse polarisation, impedance and durability data and turn it into recommendations.
- Write short, defensible reports for engineering teams, investors and funders.
- Lead technical scoping calls and help plan and price engagements.
In your first year
- Lead an independent stack or system review from data request to final report.
- Design a test programme that a client runs and uses to make a decision.
- Become the person the team turns to for electrolyser and fuel cell questions.
What you bring
- MSc or PhD in electrochemistry, chemical engineering, materials science or similar.
- 5+ years of hands-on electrolyser or fuel cell work in industry or applied research.
- Strong command of polarisation analysis and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy.
- The confidence to say in writing what a dataset does not show.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
Nice to have
- Stack testing, accelerated stress testing or post-mortem analysis.
- Technical due diligence or techno-economic analysis.
- German, Dutch or Spanish.
What Redionix offers
- Direct responsibility for technical work that informs real decisions.
- Variety across electrolyser, fuel cell, flow battery and materials programmes.
- A small team where the quality of your thinking counts more than hierarchy.
- Close work with the leadership team and with clients.
